Full Job Description

Blackhawk Moving & Storage is now accepting applications for Local Drivers, part of our Household Goods Operation and Commercial Storage & Distribution Operation.

Part Time and Seasonal Positions Available. Full Time position available to CLASS B CDL Drivers.

**HIGHER PAY FOR TRAINED A CLASS DRIVERS**

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operating company equipment while driving, and Loading/unloading trucks at job sites throughout Northern Illinois & at our Sycamore facility
• Face to Face Customer Service Leader.
• Household Goods handling. Pad wrapping, lifting, carrying, and dollying
• Maintaining a clean driving record.
• Preparing Shipments in the warehouse
• Office Goods Handling
• Palletizing goods for both shipment and storage

Minimum Requirements include:

• Must be 18 or older
• Must be able to pass a physical and lift test
• Must be able to pass a federal background check

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Moving, furniture delivery, or home delivery: 1 year (Preferred)
• Materials handling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL B License (Required)
